A Chancay wooden figure

A large male ancestral figure of light colored wood. With small differentiated legs and exagerated long shaped head having a relief nose. A horizontal incision indicates the forehead. Its arms folded on the chest. Wood, with remains of the original black paint on the face. Chancay culture, Peru, 800 BC- 1300 CE.
